ACCESSIBLE TRAVEL
Providing accessible travel to all visitors is a key aim of the Coal River Valley Explorer Bus. We proudly offer year-round access to the Coal River Valley for everyone. Above all, we welcome all ages and all abilities.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE BUSES
Our primary fleet of buses are wheelchair friendly. Accessible buses have a wheelchair bay and storage space for mobility aids. This includes wheelchairs, scooters, walkers and prams. View Our Bus Fleet page for further details.
However, some bus services may not be wheelchair accessible. So it’s most important to let us know before your tour. Reserve a wheelchair space when you book. Simply fill in the “Special Requirements” field. Or contact our booking office to discuss any specific needs and we’ll certainly do our best to assist. Phone +61 3 6236 9116 or email bookings@coalrivervalleyexplorer.com.au
Our Big Three Combo is the best way to explore Hobart. It’s a combined ticket for three of Hobart’s most iconic sightseeing tours. Coal River Valley Explorer Bus, kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus and Red Decker’s Hop-On Hop-Off City Loop Tour! The kunanyi Mt Wellington Explorer Bus and Red Decker’s open-top double-decker buses are also wheelchair friendly.
