This 4-hour tour takes you on a journey through Tasmania’s fascinating history and scenic beauty. This ticket includes time in Richmond and then allows you to create your own adventure. Combining your visit to Richmond with an experience option of your choice allowing you to explore more of the Coal River Valley region.
Immerse yourself in the historic charm of Richmond Village with ample time to explore its picturesque streets and iconic landmarks. Visit renowned heritage sites, including Australia’s oldest post office, primary school, and Catholic Church. Discover the convict history at the Richmond Gaol, the oldest intact gaol in the country, and admire the Richmond Bridge, Australia’s oldest still in use bridge. You’ll also have time to browse the delightful boutique shops scattered throughout the village.

Spend one hour here enjoying these wonderful animals and then reboard the bus back to Richmond Village where you will have 1-hour to explore all Richmond has to offer at your own pace.*
Hobart Zoo & Aquarium:
Head out to Hobart Zoo & Aquarium, a family-friendly attraction featuring animals from Tasmania, across Australia and around the world. Dedicated to wildlife conservation, environmental education and animal welfare, it's the perfect place to discover incredible wildlife through immersive and interactive experiences. Enjoy approximately 1.5 hours exploring here, then hop back on the bus back to Richmond Village where you will have 1-hour to explore all Richmond has to offer at your own pace.*
